Yes. Grand Arena Lodge is a fully converted and renovated former horse ranch. The Lodge and the Activities Arena were updated in 2026 with modern systems, fresh furnishings and thoughtful design throughout.

Is there seasonal access?

The property is accessible year-round. The Enumclaw area sees mild summers and occasional snow in the winter, both are great times to visit. The indoor arena ensures there's always plenty to do regardless of weather.

THE NORTHERN GATEWAY TO MT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK

The Grand Arena Lodge is about 10 minutes south of Enumclaw, which is considered the northern gateway to Mt. Rainier National Park. Less than an hour to the south of this property, you will pass by Crystal Mountain Ski Resort and enter into the boundaries of the national park, which has hundreds of viewpoints, hikes, and multiple visitor centers.

The Enumclaw Plateau is Washington's best-kept secret for outdoor recreation. Drive the Chinook Scenic Byway, hike to the Mt. Peak lookout tower, fish at Deep Lake, or take a guided trail ride at Echo River Ranch. In the winter, Crystal Mountain ski resort is a short drive up the mountain. In the summer, wildflowers at Sunrise, the highest driveable point in Mount Rainier National Park, make for one of the most spectacular day trips in the state.

Friday

Arrive and settle into the property. Let the kids loose in the Grand Arena while the adults unpack and explore the grounds. Spend your first evening getting competitive. Pickleball, basketball, or a round of mini golf. End the night in the hot tub under the stars.

Saturday

Brew some coffee at the Lodge and then get to The Mountain early. If it’s ski season, get to Crystal Mountain before the crowd. In the summer go through the White River Entrance to Mount Rainier National Park and spend the day exploring Sunrise Visitor center and the trails around it. Head into Enumclaw on your way home for pizza and local brews or try one of the many fine dining spots on the historic mainstreet.

Sunday

Sleep in, cook a big breakfast, and play in the arena until checkout. Stop by Trapper's Sushi in Enumclaw for lunch on your way out of town. Or swing by the Enumclaw Plateau Farmers' Market (seasonal) to pick up local jams, produce, and art.
